- Swim
Swim will take place in the indoor pool at Simmons Elementary. Athletes will exit the pool deck to a transition area in the parking lot where they will put on shoes (shorts and t-shirts, if desired -- race number must be displayed on the FRONT of the body) and pick up their bikes. 6-7 year olds will swim 25 yards (1 length of the pool) 8-9 year olds will swim 50 yards (2 lengths of the pool) 10-14 year olds will swim 100 yards (4 lengths of the pool) Bike Athletes will put their helmets on and walk their bikes out of the transition area into the Simmons driveway. SNEAKERS MUST BE TIED. - Athletes will mount their bikes, go left (east) onto the driveway - Follow driveway in front of Simmons and around to paved playground - Take paved trail into the library parking lot - Left (south) into library lot; follow to Jarrett Road - Left (south) onto Jarrett Road - Right (west) onto the connector road to a right on the Power Line Trail - The 6-9 year olds will turn left onto the Power Line Trail, while the 10-14 year olds will - turn right and make a U-turn at Babylon Road
- - All riders will cut left through the Jarrett Rd. parking lot and will return to the library lot

- - Follow course back to transition area
6-9 year olds will ride 2.3 miles 10-14 year olds will ride 2.8 miles Run Athletes will exit the transition area and turn right onto the access road leading to the High School. Runners will follow the access road and make a u-turn to head back toward the track/stadium. Run ends with a single lap on the track…and a BIG FINISH in front of the stands. 6-11 year olds will run 1/2 mile 12-14 year olds will run 3/4 mile Please note that the course layout and bike distances may vary slightly pending final event sanctioning. The entire course will be closed to traffic. REMINDERS: - Bikes and helmets must be inspected prior to the race. High Road Cycles of Doylestown has graciously agreed to partner to provide race support. They will be doing inspections on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. Additionally, they will be out on the bike course assisting any athletes who may need help with their bikes. - Sneakers/running shoes MUST be tied before proceeding to the bike and run portions of the race. - Athletes may NOT ride their bikes in the transition area. Bikes must be mounted or dismounted in the driveway and walked in and out of transition.
